Through this performance piece the concept of caring for a dwelling is explored through the active process of physical maintenance and cleaning. I collected the found object of the house frame, took it apart, and then restored it through cleaning, sanding, and repainting.

Bricks made from mud and soil collected from different areas in the Burren, Ireland. This project was inspired by the bricks peat farmers harvest from Ireland’s bogs. Following the exhibition these bricks were returned outside to reinter the landscape.
